Supporting Fluency

If your apprentice is a fluent Welsh speaker, it is important that they are given the opportunity to make the most of an important skill both for them and for the business.

Welsh speaking apprentices should be encouraged and supported to complete their apprenticeship with as much Welsh as possible. Ideally this will be at least 50% and up to 100% of their framework.

There are many ways that you can support a fluent Welsh speaker and even if you are a Welsh medium organisation already, it is still helpful to find new ways to support your apprentice.
