Support – Confidence

Celebrating your commitment

It would be a shame for all the support and commitment that you have put into your bilingual apprenticeship to go unnoticed.

You can celebrate your commitment and your apprentices in many ways:

Staff awards

If you already recognise the contribution of your staff in an awards system, why not think about adding bilingualism to the mix.

Social media

Social media is the perfect place to post good news stories. This way, your customers, suppliers, supporters and followers can all see your commitment. Why not ask your apprentice to contribute?

Coleg Cymraeg Ambassador scheme

The Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol recruits annually for Welsh medium ambassadors. This not only recognises the work of your apprentice in completing their apprenticeship bilingually but gives them the opportunity to pay it forward to the next generation of apprentices.

Cynnig Cymraeg / The Welsh Offer

The Welsh Offer is recognition by the Welsh Commissioner of your commitment to the Welsh language and a source of advice and guidance for further development. It is an “opportunity to transform your engagement with the public by showing how proud you are to offer services in Welsh”.
