This is the Welsh Government’s flagship policy which aims to have one million Welsh speakers by 2050. Part of this is to “increase the emphasis on the workplace as a strategic location for promoting and facilitating an increased use of Welsh.” Bilingual funded apprenticeships are one of the ways in which workplaces can move towards this goal.
