The IALP

In a Welsh government funded apprenticeship the learning provider will need to prepare an Individual Assessment and Learning Plan with the apprentice at the start of their apprenticeship. This plan is essentially a roadmap for the qualification. It lays out all the qualifications that the learners will complete and should detail how bilingual learning will take place during the qualification.

In a bilingual apprenticeship, the learners and assessor could complete an IALP bilingually or in Welsh.

You will be asked to review and sign the IALP so you can ensure that the language of learning matches your expectations.

You can discuss the IALP with your learner to ensure that you are happy with everything before signing

How did your IALP map out your Welsh learning?
